Dear Technics-brains

Please forgive an ignorant question from a new convert to the Technics keyboards. I have an old model, the KN1400, and would like to expand the range of sounds (voices) available to me. Specifically, I would like to be able to have mellotron and "classic" organ sounds. I notice that a lot of people/firms offer such sound patches for sale, but not for Technics keyboards. Can these patches (generally available as .wav and .aif files) be used on my primitive machine? If not - as I suspect - is there some other way for me to acquire these voices for my keyboard?

Yours in music (well, sort of)

Paul

Hi Paul,I am not sure on the Kn1400 regarding sound edit, but you are not able to load wav. files directly into any of the KN range as far as I know. If you have a disc drive for extra sounds or styles try Technics Germany as they have FREE software to download at.www.technics-music-service.de
Best of luck John.
P.S. any orther KN users will find this site useful as it covers all keyboards and piano's.
