Been trying out the JBL Eon One PA today...seems a very good system but too early to tell.

Got me to thinking and looking back.

I'm 67. Started gigging at age 15....performed publicly long before that.

From day one of gigging as a teenager, I was always looking for that next piece of gear that would be just what I needed.

At age 67, I'm still doing that...looking for just that right piece of gear to 'make my sound'.

I can't remember how many guitars, stringed instruments, PA's (other stuff)I've bought and sold(mostly at a loss).

I even owned a couple of franchises for a while(Saga, Taylor Guitars, Flatiron Mandolins) don't have many of those instruments left. Never did make the business work.

So any of you still gigging with gear from days gone by? Most of you still looking for that next piece of gear that will do it for you?
