My son got married, again, only this time to a beautiful Korean/American lady that is just a year younger than himself, she has three beautiful, young daughters, the youngest of which starts college in Boston next week on full scholarship. My son is now en route home from Boston, a harrowing drive to say the least and said he will be glad to take Amtrac the next time they head north - much easier on the nerves.
The wedding took place at Maryland Marina at their pavilion, which is just 50 feet from the piers and a beautiful view of Middle River. There was about 60 or so people present, 40 of which were Korean/Americans, and my son and daughter in law requested that I do the music for the event. I was worried, mainly because I do not know any Korean songs, but was told, most of them didn't know any as well, so no worries. The Korean ladies loved everything I did, I got lots of hugs and kisses from the ladies, and was dog tired at the end of four hours of performing outside in 90 degree temperatures with 80 percent humidity. I'm too old to do those kind of things anymore!
Believe it or not, she is 49, my son is 50 and they share the same birthday.
Here's a short video of the event, it was taken with the GoPro,which has a mic on the back of the camera, and my daughter shot the first segment, not realizing that from 20 feet away, with an ultra-wide-angle lens, it appears as if you are much farther away. Additionally, the mic range is relatively short, thereby accounting for the poor audio.
Cheers,
Gary

Gary excellent congratulations to the newly weds and family!
I know that drive very well i.e. Boston to Maryland. Worked in Metro Boston for many years and have driven many times from RI to Maryland, it ain't easy that's for sure. Amtrak is the way to go.

Thanks Nigel. Now I can really retire, at least I hope so. As soon as this damned hurricane passes, I'll be raising the sails and heading the boat south for a week or two. I'll stop when I want to, catch fish for supper, and post some photos and vids along the way when I get an Internet connection.
All the best,
Gary
