Just out of interest, with the current extreme high sound quallity of current day arrangers, meaning you dont have any TOTL arrangers that sound less then stellar, what do you deem more important, added functionallity or a minimal improvement in sound quallity?

If you have the cash, you can buy all the tools but if you are struggling arranging 16 live tracks, apply the cash for arranging lessons with a top notch teacher who also works with midi.

I’d vote for sound quality (sounds and styles) out of self-interests. The reason: I don’t do any deep editing or any technical stuff. No interest in that. I want to select a style and voice, set the tempo, and play right away, with minimal button-pushing (or screen pushing). I’ve mentioned before----I wish arrangers would become so professional-sounding that listeners would have a difficult time distinguishing between it and actual recordings, if possible. Remember----Is it Memorex? Or, something like that.
