I have all of the above.. I prefer NI original B4..followed by NI B42. VB3 is good, but not up to NI B4.. The G70. Has one of the best B3 hardware organs, but you need a volume pedal to tame the upper range, just like a Hammond B3.

Actually i wouldn't know how to be expressive on an organ witouth volume/expression pedal...
And yes, Roland has allways had great B3 organ sounds, definately the best in hardware

Yes, it was a great shame when B4II was discontinued, however they do Vintage Organs for Kontakt as a replacement. (It also contains other Vintage Organs as well as being compatible with the free Kontakt 5 Player)

Its even part of the $199 Komplete SELECT 11, but not as good as the VB3 nor as the B3 in Mainstage..
The best thing about the VB3 is that you can also have it in Hardware.. Its by a company called GSI from Italy...they also make the Crumar Mojo and a Gemini sound module..
