All the things you are; one of the greatest songs ever. Tony I can see you sitting in a relaxed position with not a care in the world lost in the song waiting for some jazz lines to come.

From what I have heard in the two songs you posted there is a tenderness and warmth in your playing.
Sit back and let it happen. Nice.

Well Tony, as you know, I never met a 'standard' I didn't like. If you're over 18 and love music, you've got to love the musical structure of these beautiful old tunes (and the challenge of playing them). That's what makes them 'timeless'. Nice job, nice choice of instruments, nice playing. I also sense that you show a little partiality to latin rhythms. Fits well with this tune.

John, chas, and Donny, thank you for the compliments ...
I LOVE playing songs from "The Great American Song Book" and yes, chas, I am partial to Latin rhythms ... they lend themselves to SO many songs ...

And Donny, keep the faith ... having been exposed to the music and performance programs in my grandkids schools for several years now, I can tell you that there are a LOT of kids out there who appreciate the standards ...

BTW ... while I find it difficult to define my 'favorite' anything, if pressed for it, I would probably say "All The Things You Are" is my favorite song of all time ... I just wish I had the talent and knowledge to give it the musical treatment it deserves ...

I have always taught my kids to be your own person musically but always keep an open mind and ear to absorb things in side you from all music you hear.

Very nice Tony. Very nice.
I am not a very good pianist. Strictly a self taught guitar player and later a self taught keyboardist. I have never learned to properly run glissando up/down the keys and I so enjoy hearing a good piano player do it.
I love the sound of the Korg. So much more in your face than the yamahas, but I am and probably always will be a yammy guy. Loving my S970.
I did think however that the piano was a tad loud in the mix.
Another thing I thought was great about your performance was the way you used the harmony on the piano, switched it off for a bit, and then went back to it.
Tastey and not predictable.
