The only difference is signal processing time. Keep in mind that we humans can only hear analog sounds, therefore, those digital sounds must be converted to analog in order for them to be heard. Now, some folks believe that the faster processing time makes the analog sounds more crisp and clear, but in reality, most audiences could not tell the difference if you paid them a million dollars to do so. And, for the most part, trained musicians would be hard pressed to tell which was which. So, the big question now comes down to price - which one will provide you with the best overall sound for the money? Only you can answer this question.
