Bernie ... this is the low to high impedance adapter I am talking about: ... I am looking to eliminate that from sticking out the back of the Pa900 by having it incorporated into the mic cable somehow ... .
BTW ... no such thing as a stupid question smile

Tony, I'll be more than happy to make you the short, right angle extension cable you need and send it up to you. Piece of cake for this old dude.

Thanks, Gary, but I have one of those ...
I just want to see if I can get a mic cable with the low to high impedance transformer built in ... one less connection to worry about ...

Donny ... thanks, but, when I am doing a gig with my keyboard I use the on board vocal processor for my lead voice and harmony ... consequently, I need a mic to plug into the keyboard ...

No, you don't need to plug the mic into the keyboard, Tony. You merely plug the output of the wireless mic receiver into the mic input of the keyboard, which then allows you to use the vocal harmony and all the other keyboard settings.

Now you know why I get the big bucks, wink

Donny and Gary: That's all well and good, guys, but I know that I am talking to two of the guys on this board who are all about quick set-up and breakdown, and setting up a wireless system is NOT going to be faster than plugging my one mic cable into the back of my keyboard ...

If I use a wireless mic, it will only be when I perform with the female vocalist, because on those gigs it is all backing tracks, no keyboard, and there are times when I might go out to the audience which the wireless would allow ...

I don't think you need a transformer. I used an XLR to 1/4 inch cable with the 900, and it worked just fine.
