Connecting Microphone
Global – Audio in --- 1-Audio in Mic 2-audio out – Left + Right 3-Mic – VP – Mp3 –to Left + Right
Tried two different microphones. Both work when I plug them into Vocal channel of the Bose Compact. Plugged Mic into Mic impute (rear of keyboard) Tried ¼ inch and XLR
Mic controls on top right of keyboard Pressed Mic on and put volume up, no sound. Both Microphones work direct in the Bose; I followed the directions above – What am I doing wrong

Be sure to turn the input knob on the back of the keyboard, next to where the mic plugs in, clockwise to allow enough gain. I assume you aren't using a phantom-powered mic. If so, you must turn on phantom power every time you power on. Also: Adjust the microphone volume by using the MIC VOLUME knob in the MIC/ VOICE section. You can see the volume of the Mic/In channel in the Main page of the Style Play or Song Play mode. Be sure it is not too low or muted.

I wouldn't think so. It is really versatile as far as adjusting for input. If it works directly into the Bose it should work with the Pa4X. I'm thinking it is one of the adjustments I mentioned.

I’ve got it, I’ve got it. My desire to succeed makes me become angry, it’s a good thing I don’t drink. (grin)The volume for the main voice was down.

John ... sometimes we are 'blinded by the light' Actually, I know how excited I would get when I first started working on the Pa900 ... we want to do everything so quickly that we overlook what might be the obvious...
