Have any players found that the volume of
the pads is set to high, and if anything
can be done other than adjusting it every
time you choose a different style.
I realize that you can save your settings
but it is anoying when just playing the
keyboard with the factory setings.
I would be interested to hear your comments.

Hi Brian,
very little has been said about the pads on the 7000. I’m curious if you have found them to be an improvement, (other than the volume), over the 6/6500.

Hi Dan,
Yes the sounds and fills have been improved
although many are familiar.
I've found they don't always suit the styles
that are matched.
On a different point I've found that its
worth experimenting with the sound arranger
button on certain rhythms. Sometimes it makes
a lot of difference for the song.
Brian.

[Brian:
I have found that the pads are too loud on some settings.
I am new at Technics so I must learn a lot of new stuff about the KN7000. The manual could be a lot better and explain in detail as to some of the operation.
It is fun and challenging to explore and find out what makes it "tick".
In a previous answer I have stated that our dealer will provide classes on the 7000 so I am really looking forward to them.
