Hi

This keyboard still interests me because it pushes the typical standard Arranger boundaries........

Has any one had any extensive experience with this and what opinions did you have after ?

Thanks
Ron

Seems there is a huge base for this keyboard in south east asia, middle east...

So far surprisingly not a huge hit in the western world...

Rumors however indicate that there might be an 88 key version, with 8 encoders, a brand new VA synth engine and Casio's high end piano sounds...

Needs to be seen however, i asked some Casio representatives for a confirmation trough mail, surprisingly ? I never got an answer... well maybe not so surprised...

Where it comes to formfactor and tools... this is the major innovation in arranger land in recent years... however, both sound as well as keybed are to much a compromise..

If hands on experience is what you are looking for, then you would do better to post your question over on the MZX sub-forum of the Casio Music Forum site. To date, they have 938 posts on the MZX units:

The community seems thriving, and the new sound engine allows for self created sounds with articulations.. i.e. Super articulation 1 sounds...
