Jerry he was the best in his field. I still love the sound of an accordion, it sets a romantic mood.

I remember the first time I saw a midi accordion – Bass, chord and right hand midi channels. This brought the ability to play contemporary music to the accordion.

Dick and I worked a new years eve party in chicago with my band and his. Both bands got snowbound and couldn't make the gig so we looked at each other and said lets do this together. Dick was my idol and the only reason I played the accordian. Years before that night I have switched to hammond b3 and lefthand fender roades keyboard bass. and i hade a boss electric drummer. We played 5 hours non stop with no rehersal and the people went crazy. Afterwards he asked to to become his organist and lead the band. It was the biggist honor of my life. but it was my last night in Chicago. I was moving to florida the next day so i had to turn him down. what a mistake. I had a full time steady job
with apartment and meals and 5 nights a week booked in jupiter in a celebrity's theater and when I got there with my family the theater was closed cown by the bank. I still live in ft. lauderdale and did well but I sure missed out on a great job with my idol Dick
