I don't think the On-Stage bookplate tablet holder as any clips or anything to hold the tablet ... I am thinking a couple of velcro strips would be a good addition ...

Tony that's exactly what I did, you'll see it tomorrow when I bring my set up to your place.

This is what I am looking at to attach to my KB stand and mount the tablet on ... the boom extension is called a mini-boom and opens 9" to 12" ... I am not sure I will need the 'quick connect' extension, but I will get it and find out ...

I bought one of these as a possible alternative to my iPad holder, butI don't have the confidence in it's strength to stay adjusted. It's great for lightweight paper charts, but the iPad needs a rock solid holder to make me feel secure. Maybe mine didn't have the right adjustment, but I had it tightened alot, and it was still very easy to tilt ... in the wrong way. Test carefully - especially if you're using the new, larger tablets.

Maybe mine didn't tighten enough, but I just didn't trust it with my 7" iPad - yours is even more top heavy.

I use the K&M holder for my ipad. It is very secure.
