I wrote this 17 years ago while trying to prepare myself for open heart surgery. My friend and I were both seriously ill. The third verse relates a literal experience we had while camping and fishing on Ontario's Georgian Bay. The whole area was buffeted by a tornado. But Peter and I were protected by a large halo of open starlit sky. We just kept singing as the storm wreaked havoc all around us. We didn't even get wet.

Wow - not to steal your spotlight, but this was one of my earliest studio projects! My friend, Bob Miles (Grammy winner) wrote original music to many inspirational sayings, and I produced, recorded, and sang on some of them! Here's our "Footprints" ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igBgAvVpTzU and here's one I sang on ... circa 1987-88ish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTjLC2wGhJM
Small World?
