I have the Audya 4 Ajam and have tried to connect to my computer with the correct USB cable but am having no luck. The screen on the Audya does not change to 'USB Connected' after a while as explained on page 15 of the User Manual. Tried several times.
Is there a procedure I am missing. Perhaps there is another USB cable I should be using.

Check to see if the switch is set to USB.

For usb midi connection;
Don't plug usb cable

press Menu
press F2 Midi
press F4 utility
press F6 usb midi on

or

press Gm part
press 5/10 utility
press F6 usb midi out

Than plug usb cable

Just to clearify if anyone wants to connect the audya to a computer.
Whilst I did appreciate the replies to my post I have found out from AJ that by turning 'ON' the 'USB MIDI' parameter will not transfer the Data from the Audya hard drive to a computer, it is only for MIDI IN/OUT.
So 'USB MIDI' must be turned 'OFF' to transfer data.
