Beating out both the Yamaha Tyros 5 and the Keytron SD9. Nice to own a winner... thanks Dnj!

Haven’t tried the SD9 (Probably a couple of centuries before that comes to market) but I have tried the T5 & PA4x, and yes, the PA4x blows the T5 completely out of the water.

No offense but do not agree that the Pa4X blows the Tyros 5 out
of the water. I sold my Pa4X because after I sold my T5-76 I began
to miss the features that the T-5 had.
Each of us hear different and that's what sells keyboards of
various brands. Lloyd

Both are incredible arrangers..

Yamaha shines where it comes to using preprepared comtent, because there is really really a lot of that...

Where Korg shines is addapting and creating/edditing things to your likings..

So different instruments different users... i however think in most things the Korg has its nose slightly in front of the Tyros.. where Korg takes a huge step in front of the Yamaha is a)edditing b)VH c)interface d)buildquallity e)arrangements of the onboard styles.

So i do agree with Korg being the best arranger keyboard, we all know Yamaha, noboddy knows Ketron..

For me the KORG Pa4x is miles above in PRO Live Playing features and for the gigging musician that is imperative,....navigational split second access on stage or just playing at home, etc, is everything. Yamaha in the feature department needs some R&D tutoring for sure.

If they keep advancing, they may soon catch up to a ......MP3 or CD player (from free to $100), especially for coming close to the original recording smile smile. Of course they (MP3/CD players) can't compete with Arrangers in one respect; generating internet speculation, rumors, alt facts, and other forms of forum entertainment.

I'm thinking about making and marketing an empty keyboard structure (non-functional keys) containing only a hidden MP3 player. It will be offered with or without internal speakers. Offered options would include a brand name of your choice (Roland, Yamaha, Korg, etc.) emblazoned on the back of the unit. A number of sampled standard DJ phrases will be standard for those with no experience (or talent) in this area. Roll-out is expected to conincide with the roll-out of the new GENOS.

This instrument is predicted to dramatically improve the performances of many OMB acts.

Deposits (pre-orders) of $500.00 may be sent to cgiles@BS.com.
