I am looking for a very light keyboard stand for my Korg Microkey series. I found this http://www.primelec.com/rock-band-3-keyb...ms#.WSnkhM1-tfQ

I wonder if anyone has any experience with the stand. I heard someone using it with his Korg MicroKorg. http://www.korg.com/us/products/synthesizers/microkorg/

Nice find.
I have played yesterday with the Microkey 61 yesterday, and it was not stable in my standard stand. let me know if you test anything good for it

I thought I would give it a try when I found a vendor selling it for $4 shipping included. The stand has very good reviews but from what I read it can not be folded. Very light but not so portable, I will say.

I tried the stand with the Korg Microkey 37, 49, 61, Micropiano, MicroArranger, even a light weighted 76 key Yamaha keyboard. The Micropiano was heavier than I thought. The stand is well made, but too bad that it doesn't fold up. Can't complain much. I paid only $15 for one shipping included, but in the end, the Amazon vendor sent me another one and said I don't have to return the 2nd stand.

Thank you for sharing. And can you take picture of it when folded? Is it lightweight?

I thought it was said that it can't be folded.

Dan, Bernie is right. I mentioned that it dons not collapse.
However, it is very light while sturdy. I can see myself taking it to local gigs, but certainly it is not for air travel or anything like that. I found another use for it; it makes a nice stand for a soundbar sound sytem. My Soundbard sound system comes with a wireless subwoofer. The stand is perfect for the soundbar.
