Not the song, the Hurricane! We are directly in its path, but being so far north, we will only get a lot of rain, projected 5-7 inches, and possibility of a few tornadoes and/or strong winds.
I feel for those down on the Louisiana/Texas border, between Houston and Lake Charles, as the storm crosses landfall, as they are probably catching hell right now!

I’m just north of Don (not far) and we’re expecting a lot of rain. In fact, major plans have been changed and relocated due to the weather----in particular, a huge Bicentennial Concert for our state featuring Marty Stuart, his band, and a group of other performers.

Hope you ride this out safely Don, and don't sustain any significant property damage. Seems no matter how good or bad we treat each other, Mother Nature can make it all seem so insignificant. Good luck.

We will be keeping our Southern friends in our prayers ... Don't 'usally' have to worry about hurricanes up here ... blizzards well that's another thing ...

Steady rain, but not as severe here as it might be. It actually is pouring in Shreveport, but I'm about 12 miles north of there and it's very light!
The Parish (County) is providing sand bags as always, and I went over and picked up a load. They are waiting in the garage in case we need them.
