I want to build a rhythm on the Roland EA-7 through Cubase can someone tell me how to do it. Or point me to a tutorial on the subject. Thanks a lot for your help.

The EA-7 has an on-board Style Composer capability. Basically you can modify existing styles or record new ones from scratch track-by-track. I wouldn't use Cubase for this purpose.
