If you want to go back in time to view what may be the first web publication of the SythnZone. Dec.26th 1996. I thought the 'Zone was older than that, perhaps others will know for sure.

In anycase check it out

Yes Larry this was quite an early incarnation of Synth Zone. You are right, Synth Zone is actually a little older than this one. It began in late 1994-1995 and was the URL "http://www.rain.org/~nigelsp" which no longer exits and preceeded the Wayback Machine's archiving. But it wasn't a lot different from the one you provide a link to. It is just like being in a time machine. The link to the Synth Zone Forum shows how much things have changed.

Hi Larry,

Where do you get all this info.

I did not think Japp Keller went back that far. One of our first sharers.
Also Neil Blake still going strong. Amazing.

This forum has come a long way thanks to Neil and Bill.
They both deserve a lot of credit.

Many thanks to both of you.
Alex

Alex, there has been a link to the Wayback Machine at http://www.archive.org/ on the front page at http://www.synthzone.com for a long time now. You can look up archives of many websites. In fact a number of links at Synth Zone are to Wayback Machine archives because the original site has long gone. It's a very useful tool.

Hi Nigel,

Thanks for the sites. I will put them in my favorites.

I want to apologize for misspelling your name but I think our members knew I meant you.

Again many thanks.
