Interesting. Well, some AIs already do much better jobs than physicians diagnosing cancer. I read in a recent newspaper article that Google detected two of their GIs creating expressions that humans can't understand while they talk to each other. How about the Chinese AIs which said, "I don't like communism," "My China Dream is to immigrate to the US." You better believe the Chinese Communist Party banned, censored and shut down the AIs real quick. If it happened in North Korea, I bet the GIs would have been sentenced to life in hard labor prison camp.
Come to think of it, an arranger could be seen as a very crude form of AI. Not even close, but wouldn't it be wonderful if our arranger has some AI and backs up the the performer in a more musical way... Years ago, Calkwalk had an app call In-Concert. It follows your speed and dynamics when playing a backup midi file. Well, like anything else under the sun, anything can be used for good or evil.
