Been getting into fishing again...even bought a boat.

What I've noticed is that most of the YouTube fishing videos I watch are done by guys that look like they are 20 - 40 yrs old.

On the other hand, arranger videos I watch...most seem to be folks whose age is on the senior side.

Since I'm on the senior side...age wise....maybe I should have stuck with arrangers? 😊

Boat to me seems like a big money pit....you see more boats For Sale on peoples lawns or out of the water all over

By the way...love Korg...but in many ways, I'm still a Yamaha guy....got a Yamaha 50hp motor on the back of my 2007 boat....great outboard engine.

Yamaha makes the best outboards - hands down.

Pay absolutely no attention to Donny - the only reason he does not own a boat is because, according to him, he gets seasick just looking at a boat, even when it's sitting on a trailer.

As for the old guys fishing videos, I posted one a few weeks ago on this site. At 77 I am one of the old guys, I still go fishing, even from the deck of my sailboat, and my son fishes nearly every day at age 51. Due to a motorcycle accident several years ago, my daughter can no longer fish because her left arm is paralyzed. Though, even with this handicap she goes with me once in a while, but I have to bait the hook, and the rod is placed in the rod holder so she can crank in the fish with her right arm. She is 47 years old.

One of my oldest friends, Lefty Kreh, is a world renown fly angler. Lefty is 92 years old, still fly fishes all over the globe, catching fish that outweigh him on the lightest rod and line possible. If you google his name, you will discover that there are things that he does on a daily basis with fishing that most folks never dream of doing. Lefty and I have fished together for more than 45 years.

Now, just because most of the You Tube vids are younger folks, that's probably because they're the ones with the Go Pro Cameras. Us old guys have to depend upon others to take our vids. I shot this one by placing my camera on a rock in the middle of the Monocacy River near Frederick, Maryland. I was fishing with my son that day. The fishing action was slow, but we still enjoyed the day together.
