I had regular super 55. I liked the mic a lot. I returned it because of pop-ups. Shure did that poorly. Otherwise I liked the sound and it is a great looking mic.

It's a great looking mic, also very good sound too. It has beta 58 capsule, but it sounds little bit different than beta 58. Like I said , I only didn't like pop ups when you sing. Pretty good on feedback too.

Nah ... If you want to go that route for the 'classic style' it HAS to be the 'silver' one ... JMHO
