Can someone explain to me how to program rittardando at the end of the song in sequencer on KN7000?
On my old Korg O1W it can be done very easy and very natural souding.
I try to do it with 7000 but it just Does not sound right.

Hi Adam,

kn7 here - thank you for the compliments. We will have to know the type of ending you want to retard. By this, is it a style ending in the keyboard or one that you have created in COMPOSER or is this an ending you are trying to do purely in measures at the end of the song without hitting an ENDING button in a style?

Hi
Just, let say 4 last measures at the end of the song.
I do not want to use composer ending.
Can this be programmed in the step record mode?

Yes. Make sure you are using the CONTROL track. In step record, bring up CONTROL track. At the bottom of the screen you will see the tempo number you are in. Go to the measure you want to start to retard. Then turn the TEMPO wheel down to the tempo number you want to end with. When you start turning the Tempo wheel down, you will see the tempo change on the screen. When you are at the right measure, press the side bar where YES is. Done! If you want a very precise retarded ending, do a gradual tempo wheel change on each of the last 4 measures.

Hi Adam,

I know you said you didnt want to use composer but believe me its the only way to achieve a natural ending.
You can do a tempo rall but listen carefully
and it dosent sound natural.
Get into using the composer and a whole new world opens up.

Cheers Barry
