This morning we received an email from one of the forums' members regarding our use of names / syntax.

Just to put it straight. In the current world of 2004 it is, we think, acceptable to shorten our names as we see fit. So for the sake of the mental health of our fellow member my full name is Lucy Amee Roberts and Michie's is Michelle Charlotte Roberts.

On behalf of both of us, sorry if you got confused.

Hi Bill,

As always, you're quite right. We are sisters. Michie being the oldest at 28 and me just turned 18. Before Mark appeared on the scene about three years ago it was just my parents and I who had learnt BSL (British Sign Language) but with a little hard work, more and more people are learning it.

The two of them plus our boss, Sam, are over in France at the moment picking up business supplies. I hope there's a present for me...

I thought that was what I remembered from our correspondence.
When I was your age, I learned sign language from a neato old dude that was my current age. He was confined to a mental hospital I was working at as a pre med student. Nobody else in this hospital could sign. he had been there 30 years with no one to talk to.
signing is totally different today then it was then, I have noticed.
Today I mostly read lips after playing a lot of Tooooo loud music for the last 68 years
