I would also like to see a top notch native softsynth that didn't rely on 3rd party modules or vsts. Several attempts were made, including the start of a 3rd party programmer to develop one as a exra cost option, but it never got off the ground. For technical people accustomed to configuring their sounds with vsts etc., it wouldn't be as appealing as the mainstream players, but not having to carry an SD2 or SD1000, is a big plus. The present softsynth is okay, but not, IMO, top grade. The easiest VST to integrate, should be Halion Sonic 3 which could be expanded with Halion 6 if required. Bill

Last time i checked, Dann told me there where 4 soundpackages available for the 4 main synth brands (yamaha, korg, ketron, roland) each at a cost of €100.. i only saw possitive comments on the sound quallity... I hoped this would be the step required to make it a full software setup...
