I really like mine too, but your question is difficult because they are both Yamaha. My decision is based, in part, what songs I have on my Pa4x and Audya, and different styles for variety. The other is weight and size of venue. It would seem that the S970 would be my choice for a quick smaller gig knowing that the audience would enjoy your show even on a washboard. We know the difference, but unless they are played side by side, they won't. This is particularly true of you, who does not depend 100% on the keyboard.
