Hi, my first post here so a brief introduction before telling you about the new free sampled piano. I've been a Korg Pa addict for over 10 years and my main interest has been in sound design and improvement (particularly for the pianos) as well as midi file editing and improvement. The Korg's are great but the quality of the pianos are a bit of a dissappointment compared to the other sounds. Anyhow I have tailored a nice Yamaha C5 Grand to suit the Korg. It is downloadable from the link in the soundcloud demos. It is 116mb compressed (equivalent to 232mb) and has 6 velocity layers (compared to the single layer in the factory grand which just uses filtering to change the timbre) and has resonance, pedal and key-off effects for a detailed sound. If you load the set 'as is' it will put 8 versions of the piano in the first 8 slots of User 1 Sounds. Alternatively you can drill down into the set by choosing Open, Sound, Open, User1, Open... you choose where to load the sounds. I had a go at making my own Pedal Steel this morning. Try this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dDJ9XpVX5jNqe6-5jlyQ6tMXV5ul5_nZ/view?usp=sharing This set does not use any loaded PCM sounds - just a lot of editing to some existing factory sounds. It has two versions of a pedal steel that will load to User 1 slots 9 and 10. The first version has volume pedal effects via -Y Joystick. The second version switches according to key velocity. These should work fine assuming similar mapping of samples of Pa3x to Pa700.

Take Country Quickstep and slow down to about 100 bpm. Also,I have edited a Foxtrot shuffle to work on the 4X, but don't think it will work on the 700. Find one with a walking bass and change the style sounds to piano and guitar parts, and the drum kit to something that sounds "country".
