So now that I settled in on the 1000, I am trying to map from my 3X.

As I load the 1000 with the .SET stick, saved from my 3X, EVERYTHING IS PERFECT, except the drum style of course.

Is there any way on God's green earth to remap this drum to match up with the rest of the settings - if this is possible, I could get this done very fast. If not, what a longggggggggg journey.

FIGURED IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone interested:

1. load in your .SET from (my case, the 3X)
2. Select any song from your list
3. DO NOT HIT THE DRUMS YET
4. Go into Write on Songbook and DISABLE 2nd option on page "keyboard set"
5. Select 1st option on page and select "STYLE/SONG" and select which is the correct drum for the song.
6. Simply save and done
7. Of course, some of the sub drum categories, FX, volume and other parameters can be changed then to match up.

I believe this is going to work and will let you know if I run into a snag, but this pretty encouraging.

A bit tedious, moving styles back and forth, especially user. But coming along. I have one total set done.

Let me say....egg on face........this is one terrific keyboard and I'm sorry to denounce it earlier. I came off my high horse and gave it shot and I am so very happy I did.

I ordered the Korg Konnect and I believe this will be a fantastic combination. I haven't even done the harmonizer or Karma, but I see some neat things I can incorporate.

Mel, you are right - more I play it, more it grows on me. And the action is very good.

Very happy camper here and I am impressed with the PA1000.
