Eric has earned his place in the music business, but he can't touch what Gary played.

The blues was the springboard for many of the early "English Invasion" guys. The blues is what defined Gary.

As always, an articulate and somehow "scarily polite" analysis of
a real element in the development of "American" music as we know it by my friend, Chas.

Good find, Donny. I forgot about Stevie Ray, I guess because I don't follow that type of music very often. He is an incredible performer and musician.
