"ZONIES".... This is a tool that seems so worth having. My challenge is that I cannot translate the "C44.95" price listed on the website to U.S. dollars! I do have the exchange site in my reference file....however did not find that "C" symbol!

Seems to me if the USD cost was also displayed on the ordering site....sales might just increase? I would have purchased the tool last fall had I known the answer to this question...

Will appreciate some help here please.

Hello Elizabeth!
Are you sure that symbol isn't a large "E" rather than a "C"? If so, it means the price is quoted in Euros, the new currency of many Eurpean nations now. You didn't say where the product is from, but that is my wild guess. Maybe some other "Zonies" can help further. Good luck!

Ted

TED....Thanks for the response.....
Yes I am sure the currency symbol is "C" it has two little short lines through the center of the curve.

I think the country is either Norway or Sweden.... The producer of the product I want to purchase is Frank or Fred Mellnick??

It will be good to know how much in USD's to deduct from my account before I make the purchase.

Hiya Elizabeth
Ted's right it's in Euros so you should be able to calculate - and I expect Fred Mellink will spot this thread in a minute and contact you...

ZONIES.....Once again THANKS for the great responses & in such a prompt manner! (I just figured out how to be notified of a response to a question).

Additionally I have expanded my store of knowledge....the correct spelling of Fred Mellink & the correct symbol for the "Euro"... On a second look that symbol does sorta-kinda resemble an "E"...if you curve it! Also learned how to add the little smiley's to my post, & how to post the same question twice! Appologies for that last one! I know my 7K a lot better than my little "word box."

Tomorrow 4-1 is payday! So if I can manage to make an on-line purchase of this product...I should have it soooooon! (Yesterday I paid within a couple of USD's that amount for 30 gallons of propane to heat my MoHo & cook with....that is a rather huge (IMO) price increase since last I purchased propane here... Oh well...it is just money!

Thanks again & HAPPY TRAILS, HUGS, & HARMONY!

Hello Elizabeth.

Here is a nice conversion site:
http://www.xe.com/ucc/

I just took a look: at this moment 44.95 Euro is $64. In our newspaper I see the exchange rate dancing between 1.20 to 1.35. That is the reason that I chose our own currency. If I can help you further, let me know.

Kind Regards, Fred Mellink

FRED...Thank you for your response. I do have that currency exchange website. My challenge was that I did not know what the symbol for the EURO is. Also did not know your country is on the EURO monetary system.
