I saw the line outs, but was surprised at the difference in highs and lows between Korg and Roland and thought it might be due to speakers. Casio was in between. I had a pa600 and preferred it here, though it needed some crispness. Roland drums/cymbals sounded harsh and tambourine like. Global eq settings , if available, would bridge the gap in either direction. Out of box setups are important as this is what catches one's ear to start with, but can be misleading if you are not aware that modifications can make significant changes.
With all of the minutiae in tweaking now available, do the big three (four..five..) still offer broader global eq settings in most, or any, of their models?

Regarding piano, the newer Roland pianos often sound too bright for a simple reason: the fortissimo layer is activated too easily when playing the lightweight keybeds. That struck me in these examples as well as in some FA-06 demos. It should be adapted by editing the layer limits (or in case of the FA-06, the Supernatural settings) or changing the key response.
