I have a good friend who is a pro musician gigging frequently,
now using a genos he acquired which he really likes up till now.
He emailed me and said that there was a major difference in the separation & panning of the REVO Drums when he plays in mono vs stereo as it was designed & intended to be played especially the Intros, Fills & Endings. He says "it's like a different keyboard in mono" when he plays a small NH gig vs using TWO speakers in stereo on bigger dance venues which I can understand,.....I'm just passing this along.
Please don't shoot the messenger... cool2

Genos produce stereo big time.
In fact, also at many 'right hand' sounds, when use headset or G speakers you can hear clearly how the sound move from left to right or opposite, a sort of 'follow the keys direction' when play.

But, I stand by what I said in other threads.
When play gigs for hundreds of dancing people, the noise from tapping and stepping shoes, people in motion and people talking, no other than yourself would notice or care less if it's in stereo or not.

This...

Altough, when using the keyboard in a band setting..
i don’t think your sound engineer will be happy with you filling the whole stereo sound spectrum..

Ok... maybe a summed mono. Hey... I’m a sound guy too!! If I have a channel open, my heart has a special place set aside for a stereo key board feed.

Playing a Genos in Mono is a travesty.

My monitors would still be in stereo... summed mono into the mono house system.

I seem to get a better drum sound with two speakers run left and right. Seems more balanced is a better way to put it?

By the way, to not play a Genos is the real travesty. 😁
