Genos 8 gigs down

I ended up with 8 gigs this month. My venues can best be described as around 50 seniors(+/-) and medium sized rooms.

Along with the Genos, I used my Bose S1(x2) which are now my favorite speakers for gigging. For one very large sanctuary, I used my JBL Eon One instead. In retrospect, I’m guessing my Bose system would have worked as well.

To my ears, Genos produces a wonderful sound with many compliments from the audience. Overall, im very impressed with the sound of Genos + Bose. I’m also very impressed with the VH system in Genos...couldn’t be more pleased...that’s coming from the TC Helicon which is also excellent.

I’m very happy I made the Genos plunge....

😊

I’ve got half dozen gigs under my belt with the Genos. Guitpic1 similar to you my audiences are about the same size in medium sized rooms. I like what I hear and have been getting compliments from the audience too. To my ears the Genos Bose Compact is a better combination than when I’ve used it with the Maui but I find the Pa4x and the Maui LD5 a better combination. I know it’s all subjective, maybe I’m all wet with that statement. I have to be honest though whether I’ve used the Pa4x or the Genos, audience reaction is just as positive. For live play both boards are excellent and Genos supplies all the controls that Tyros didn’t have. The new Playlist feature is as good as Songbook in my opinion. I just added wireless Bluetooth to the Genos so my tablet displays my lead sheets to the corresponding registrations. The one exception where I seemed to got the best reaction was at an all instrumental open house using the Genos. I think the difference is I didn’t start doing vocals until about age 60 but I’ve been playing piano/keyboards since I was a teen.

I too am happy with the Genos purchase.

Glad you are happy with your setup. I've never heard a Genos, but sure would like to smile Maybe you could share some for us.

I plan to do some video demos when I get the 4X out on the road. I'll be going direct into my Q8.

Like Steve said, these TOL arrangers are just so dynamite. Brings a ton of joy to the seniors.

I’m still trying to figure out how to post a song on a Dropbox. Maybe next week?

I’m also hoping that somebody will video me at my next gig in about a week .
