Recently I began changing over from pure hardware synthesizer sounds to iPad IOS libraries. Yesterday I installed SampleTank on my iPad.
I also discovered the app "Guitarism", which allows you to strum guitar strings and press pre-selected chord buttons.
The great thing I discovered: you can send out what you strum as midi data and record it with any sequencer. I recorded it with the SampleTank song recorder, but you could use any software.
So this is a short recording of a midi guitar track on SampleTank created this way, together with bass and drums. This is the strumming I am often missing when trying to replicate it using a keyboard. Even the Roland Integra couldn't do it this way with its SN-A guitars.
