I downloaded some SD card writing software last night. it's Freeware writen by a Technics owner. I am awaiting a new 7000 I bought from Great Brittian to test it out.

I have the web address on my computer at the office.. I will remember to post it.
I picked up the site from another bulliten board

Hi again folks!
I´ve got a mail from Walt Teney and he has the SZ-CB7 in stock for a moderate prize.

Anyhow I have some thoughts of the sync to the SD card. I would like to have the Techfile separated from the Audiofile on the SD card, so I´m thinking of recording a backing vocal only while listening to the Techfile in headphones (monitoring). Then convert the recording vocal to a WAV or MP3 and finaly put it to the SD-card. But will it sync satisfied? Has anyone tried this?

Lindoz,

You can record any wave, mp3, or wma. file and convert it to AAC (AAC is the digital format that the KN7000 Audio reads)

After recording and saving your vocal backing, you must save this to position number 1 song on any audio folder. Make sure it is in position 1.

This will allow you to add a Technics recording, so that it is included with the AAC Audio. Save it all as a Technics file, anywhere on your SD Card, and when you load that Technics file, it will load and play your combined Audio and Technics file performance.

Of course you must save that Technics/Audio file recording on the same card that has the original Audio file recording. And again, that original Audio( AAC) file recording must remain in position 1 of an audio folder.

Just think...you could play your KN7000, or 2600, with Elvis singing in the background, and then save, and play this as a Technics file !

The possiblities are awsome !!!

Hi
I have programmed hundreds of songs during the years, from KN1000 to KN7000, but never used the USB connecting which was released from the 6000.(or whas it 5000?) Now I am going to take a look at this.

Anyone who knows anything about the Sound Recorder enclosed on a CD together with the KN7000? And whats´the difference between Techmanager 6000-7000 and the Panasonic Audiokit for SD. Also the Keysoftservice in Switzerland has some improvement software which could manage SD and CD filetransfers. Anyone who knows anything in that?

Regards Lindoz
