I tried several headset mics before I began using the Crown CM311A. While not the most comfortable mic, it absolutely is the best headset mic I found for breath control, feedback rejection, tonal quality and elimination of outside noise. Yes, it is expensive, but no more expensive than my Sennheiser high end mics. Ironically, breath sounds are completely eliminated when the mic is touching your lips while performing. This is clearly spelled out in the user manual. Good luck, Gary
