I thought I had the best setting for the EC5 pedal on my Pa4x until I checked out what Don was using. (I bought Don’s Pa4x) There are five switches – he uses four of them or the four variations.

My first thought is the variations are close to the variations on the keyboard –no way. Using Don’s method has added freedom to my playing, I can use Var. 4 while I am playing brass, and then select Var. 1 when I take a piano solo – then select 3 for a sax section. All with no hands.

Thank you Don (again), John C.

Sometimes I do that; usually I use button one for Vocal Harmony on/off, button five for Break/Fill and the other three for variations.
