Hi all. Just bought Maui 28 system on Ebay, $800 shipped, it is demo. I have been trying to prepare my self to getting out entertaining again. It's been a long time but it's now or never. I really don't care for the music you hear everywhere these days. I write my own stuff and write many styles. I'm going to concentrate on big band stuff, I can give out a pretty good Sinatra but I'm going to try and modernize it a bit. Maybe I can get into the Fountainbleu? (haha just kidding)

You made a very wise choice it's a great sound system good luck to you and your music...I have Two Maui 28's and never looked back

The new Sinatra is Buble I suppose! Never was a huge Sinatra fan, but he sure did some great songs. Love to hear you in action!

Ironically, when I performed in the Florida Keys for the Spring Breakers, those young gals requested Sinatra songs, followed by Jimmy Buffett, etc...

Good luck with your new system and your act. If you can do a good Sinatra, I’m sure you’ll do well. As Gary said he’s type of music still has a very wide appeal.
I was at a quinceañera (15th birthday celebration) in Mexico City this weekend, and the girl did a very lovely dance routine with her dance partner to “The Way You Look Tonight” It was so elegant and went over very well. The LIVE band and singer did a great job. It gave me a bit off hope for the younger generation until the DJ started doing his thing- LOL
