I passed over this mixer several times... since I owned the M-10DX mixer (never sell it)..

Than I decided to look at the specs and features... it has more functions than the M-10dx.... but what I overlooked is the 18 input audio interface that works as the front end of my DAWS..

I remember the misleading Alesis mixers with USB... that didn't multi record..

The Edirol does you can record a whole band on 16 tracks plus the stereo output..

BTW I bought one smile

Agree Fran, the M10DX is the best mixer I've ever used. I just wish there was a space saving M-8DX or even a 6-DX for live one-man-b performances. The 16 DX looks perfect for studio work (home Studio).

More ads for a dinosaur that's discontinued, and mostly unavailable. You crack me up, Fran ... living there, in your Roland museum!

In defense the Roland has many pro features
eg: (white noise & Room Acoustic Anaolizer)
etc, etc, many mixers today do not...
nuff said.

Donny, as you know, I've got (or had - gave to grandson) a M-10 and found it too 'digital' (ie. not 'warm') for my liking. It was super clean (maybe too clean) and loaded with nice features; I just didn't like the sound of it. I know I'm in the minority as most owners are very happy with it. Certainly a tube amp paired with the right speakers would warm it up but that's too much money and hassle to prop up a mixer in that price range (IMO). Still, it was a good buy (SDOTD) at the time.

Understood Chas....just choose what works well for your needs...
so many choices out there to pick from...
to be honest I sold my Edirol M-10 mixer also.
Carry On
