Well, this is the wrong place to ask the question, be ause the majorrity of the visitors dont even play weighted keys, and they will base their decision of what they need themselves

However, the actuall success of the low end Casio PX-360/560 shows their is definately a market for these instruments..

Dont you just think everyone deserves an instrument that fits his needs? In general their is atleast 20 piano players for every arranger player. If only 10% of them buys an instrument with an arranger in it, that makes 2 times the sales of the whole high end arranger market..

I think for Casio half of their piano's have an arranger on board... and when you count the yamaha arranger app, the same goes for yamaha and Roland...

So with this proof of my point, there is no reason to say no against a stagepiano with build in arranger... other then say no because you will not buy it yourself...

The Yamaha CVP series still sell extremely well,...
They even brought arranger styles(mid to low end) to their other models like csp and p125 and 515 trough an app..

Because 88 pianos with an arranger part added do sell...

YES!
I want a digital piano. To me, that means 88 weighted keys.
I also want the functionality (root word "fun") of an arranger so I can entertain myself and my family.
I'm new at this, so the only instrument I know that fits the bill is the Yamaha DGX-660, which doesn't seem to be well thought of here. If there are other, better examples, I don't know what they are.
The other alternatives I'm aware of is an add-on device, like the Roland BK-M, to a digital piano or one of the software/tablet solutions like OneManBand.
I, for one, would like to see a really nice instrument with 88 weighted, piano-like keys.
Just my 2 cents.

Personally I don't NEED a 88 key arranger, 76 is just fine for my use.
But, that don't mean I would say NO. If it's market for it, why not?

besides yes or no
......using 88 "weighted keys" to play anything other then piano vs using arranger kb SOUNDS , organ, trumpet, guitar, synth, etc,..and a much lighter keybed feel correctly is counter productive .......

I agree with statements on the other 88 genos topic, it will never happen...too many options to choose for players. We are lucky to even have arranger kbs made anymore by just a few left companies at this stage of the game,...dwindling future sales will drive what is made as profits are the main concern for any company. Tuck away an arranger kb in your closet as one day there will be no more, the way it's going the old generation is dropping off fast and the new generation is doing their own thing musically
..old traditions in life are hard to pass on in every aspect of life.
