I was at musicstore.de today picking up my modx..

I saw that the casio mz-x500 on a sale for €444
Thats aa keyboard that launched 2 years ago at €999

I almost bought it... untill i touched the keys again, and realized this keybed would never sui me.. it feels sompy when played... tested it... the new ctx keyboards have the same keybed..

But if someone considered this
Then this is your chance to get it almost for free..

there's a reason the price was cut drastically...
maybe a beginner would enjoy it some how.

Sound quallity is reasonable..
Keybed is not my thing, actually its worse then any other brand..
Options are beyound any other arranger out there..
The interface is refreshing and with many pro features enlightened..

you can butter it up all you want bottom line it's still a casio....they really need to step back listen to real players needs and go in a different pro direction vs big box store cheapie products that is disappointing at best, they have the resources to design something worthy but never do,.....then the uninformed buy thinking its something great when it isn't....just being honest if I am wrong please inform me.
a brand name change included with that.

Hmm this is about $515 USD. But when I change the country to USA it doesn't appear in the list of products to buy. I've seen some on auction sites for $700-800. Was a little leery to buy used because I know from store displays that the keys don't hold up well. Bummer, they should have released this functionality in a module!

Yes... its still a casio..

- you can hear it
- you can feel it
- and you can see it

Despite the inovativity...
Its still a decade beyound pa700, psr s775 and Roland ea-7
Because thats he competition in the orrriginal price range..

Where they cought up in the piano department..
They haven’t done so in the aranger department..
