Paul ... CONGRATULATIONS on your anniversary ... but you are still 'rookies' ... my wife and I will be celebrating our 55th on Nov. 23 ... (We were married the day after Pres. Kennedy's assassination frown ) ...
I really enjoyed your performance, but have to agree with the comments regarding interaction with the audience ... I would also suggest more interaction between you and your wife ... Even just looking at each other and smiling relates well with the audience ... and if you are making changes, might I suggest moving your mic to the side closer to your wife so that you will naturally be facing in her direction when you are singing ... We never know what we look like when entertaining until we see ourselves in a video ...
BTW ... you are a great looking couple ...

Thanks! You're right, and we're discovering how important it is to video our performances, even if it makes me cringe a bit!

Happy anniversary, Paul. My wife and I also celebrated our wedding anniversary on Saturday. We were married September 29, 1962, 56 years ago.

Sounds like you had a great time at the Casino, and I thoroughly enjoyed your you tube vids.

Paul

I see that you have a PSR S series, I could not see the model number, but, if it is a PSR S970,S770-S975,S775 you could install the Cumbia Expansion and even some more packs, let me know....send me an email....
I know Juana La Cubana.....and your version is very nice, but, I think there are other possibilities if use other styles for the same song.......or just to simply have couple different versions.

LOL Chas! We’re not that old nor are we that young either. Heck, in the not so distant future we’ll be just as old and cranky as everyone else on this forum. Just kidding. Kind of.

I absolutely love the Mexican styles that youve put outt for Yamaha. I use the mariachi, norteña pack and Mexican Banda pack. As much as I love my Ketron, i can’t really do Mexican music well on it. The Audya does sound amazing for salsa, merengue and modern bachata though. Since we do both Mexican styles and “ tropical Latin” I use both keyboards for a lot of our jobs.

I do have the psr 950. I’ve concindering upgrading so I can install all the great new expansions packets.

And you’re right, Juana La Cubana is a classic Cumbia, but sometimes we like to play it salsa style. That’s one of benefits of playing arranger keyboards is you can change things up!
