Hello Everyone

I have 2 questions, neither is a major problem, but still rather puzzling...

1.
My KN7000, is reading my 256mb SD card as 7% full. I find this hard to believe, as I have over 1,000 Technic songs, styles, sounds, midi files, Audio files, etc. already stored. Could this be possible, or is the 7000 incorrectly reading the SD Card ?

2.
On my friends KN7000 SD Card, the Favorite Songs Page displays the song titles in blue lettering. All other pages are displayed in black. What could have caused this, and can it be corrected ? The blue is hard on his "Senior" eyes.

I'm using a PNY brand 256 card as well(not formatted by the technics keyboard) and so far I have converted 84 songs,,,,showing only 6% used...these are technics sequences with only seq,panel memory,sound memory, and effect memory saved..might be the brand card or have something to do with the formatting of it?

With regards to your other issue, I've seen this happen on mine as well and have also seen another post on the color display on "favorites" maybe its a technics bug? I'm on 1.3

My KN7K is on version 1.5 I know that the upgrade from 1.3 had mainly to do with the German Help pages, but the bug fixes in 1.5 mainly deal with the volume indication on SD card. So upgrade to 1.5 is what I recommend.

Hi Larry,
how many mb's are left showing on your card. That may give you a fair indication if the
7% is correct or not. Mine used to show strange percentages also, before I upgraded to 1.5.

Before any of you guys upgrade to system 1.5, I would suggest you read the post by technicsplayer. (new 7K system at Taiyo). Depending what is in your KN7000 you just might be kicking yourself in the butt!

1.5. is not anymore at the Taiyo site.
Just upgrade to 1.6 the sdcard memory fixed in 1.5 is still there and the somtimes occured expansionboard problems are fixed too.
