Looking at new Pegasus Wing at around $4k and an oax1 at more than double that, are there any models in development that are geared toward middle of the line keyboard, or is Wersi content to let the other manufacturers have that? The older Pegasus models I thought were more geared toward this..

We had the original Pegasus a number of years ago. Loved it. Also owned a Wersi Spectra at the time and played side by side you could not tell which was which. Never played or saw a Wing or OAX-1 but I assume the same can be said about those two? 99% the same internals. Based on that not sure what they would base a less expensive model on since OAX is the current O/S in their line up?
