I’ve had my Genos since January. I continue to be more impressed the longer I have it.
Given that almost all, the knobs, sliders and buttons are assignable, it seems to me that the Genos could almost be upgraded to a newer model just by upgrading the software.
Thoughts?

Agree, but it also depends of what limitations hardware has or not, and what direction Yamaha may choose to go. The future is exciting, at least for those of us that lives long enought to see it!
