I know this is not exactly related to Technics, but maybe someone will know here. I'm looking for a program to convert WMV (V=Video) files to MPG format.

Just a simple good convert program, inexpensive if possible. Better yet, Freeware or Shareware...

Hi,
the most easy way with freeware is iTunes .
You can convert to WAV/ AIF/ AAC (MPEG 4's sound track format) and of course MP3.

PS: Oh sorry, I didn't read carefully so I thought you mean WMA to MP3?
Doesn't Windows moviemaker convert WMV to MPG? Or Quicktime ? Is not freeware, but not so expensive.
Or what about using the CD burning software's tools?

I can not find a simple conversion from WMV to MPG. Not sure about Movie Maker or Quick Time, will have to look into it. Thanks for replying.
