After his Hee Haw days our little town was on his tour schedule. A true showman. He could make you laugh, cry, think and dazzle you with his guitarmanship.
RIP, Roy! I was surprised he was older than Willie Nelson.
When I worked in Nashville I used to see so many entertainers and politicians on Mondays at the old airport. They didn't have an Admiral's Club then so the "stars" would have to suffer out in the lobby like the rest of us. Most were really nice and I did my best to honor their privacy. Another great guy gone. Sad! Thanks for letting us know, Deane.
. YT has grown to be a real treasure if take a trip at the memory lane. Some years has passed by since 1966, but this one is really funny, and show his talent both as a great singer and comedian. Enjoy.
