Hi guys. Im in the market for a smaller unit (backup) for my Audya4 module. I use only the arranger an guitar. mi see both of these units now have built in effects for your guitar (saves taking pedals!). i see the Midjay Pro has faders on the front which i like for arranger performances, a few peple have suggested the SD40 would be better for what im using, as they class the MidjayPro more for dj's purposes etc.
Sd40 or MidjayPro ?

My 2c is that what's already suggested are the best advise, but why not go for SD90 and use your Audya as backup?
Also if sell Audya the price will end pretty close as if just add SD40, or .. confused

But if so, you don't have a backup. wink

I feel the SD90 is just too expensive. Ideally a smaller more compact unit would be ideal, so the SD40 seems a good choice.Perhaps its just from using the audya i find the faders very quick, im sure i could get used to the SD40 touch too with some practice.

Personally, I find the larger touchscreen on my SD40 fast, easy, and accurate. I have no problem in navigating live, and the dials are as fast as the sliders on my Audya.

Thanks Bernie. That is just the answer ive been waiting for.
And i presume from my research, i can copy my audya patterns onto the sd40 (convert)

I disagree on the sd90 being to expensive..
Its about 50% more expensive then the sd40
And offers so much more, when the sampler finally gets added..

I agree that for those wanting a more advanced module, an SD90 might be worth the extra cost.

Indeed this true, however i use the accompaniment and playing some midi tracks, i have no interest in creating styles etc, therefore i have purchased a SD40 which will be ideal.
