Weather was bad here today...so what else is new?

My (shirt tail) cousin who plays 5 - 7 gigs a week couldn’t drive the 50 miles here for a gig without ending up in the ditch.

So I volunteered to cover for him. Brought my Genos and S1’s as the area I had to cover was 180 degrees +.

The place is an assisted living...beautiful...wooden floors and cathedral ceiling. About 50 folks were gathered in a 180 degree arc...residents and staff.

So I pointed my S1’s left and right.

My gig was to go 1pm - 2pm. I started a bit early before 1 pm.

Tried to stop at 2 pm. The AD said we’ll go as long as you do. I finally quit at a little after 3pm....voice gave out. Nobody had left yet.

The AD, whom I had met before said, “the sound was awesome”. Truth is I kept playin* because I could hear the sound as well....and I loved it....wonderful.

😊
